The JEPS is a quarterly scientific refereed Journal specialized in educational and psychological studies. It published by the College of Education at the University of Bahrain. The journal was established in 2000, and the first volume was published in December 2000.

The JEPS publishes original academic research and studies in all education and psychology fields that adhere to the commonly used scientific research methodology, and is written in Arabic or English. The author(s) should provide the Editorial Board with an affidavit attesting that the manuscript submitted for publishing has not previously been published or submitted to other journal(s) for publication.

The journal has four main sections: Arabic studies, English studies, report or proceeding of conference, symposia, and other related academic activities, and summaries for accepted and approved master and doctoral dissertations in the field of education.
